Nero d'Avola has become Sicily's signature red grape and this intense, fruit-driven example is rich with black cherries, brambles, ripe damsons and hints of violet aromas. In the glass the intense berry flavours are complemented by a rich figginess, and a velvety texture which gives it an elegance, and satisfying long finish.
