13° Grape:100% Vermentino

Vermentino is typical of the Apuan hills (Northern Tuscany). This estate has 11 different clones of this vine, planted in three separate areas, each with a different aspect and soil . These permutations allow them to produce a consistently high quality. A short period of skin maceration is followed by 12 months in new kegs and a further 12 month in bottles, giving it a rich golden colour akin to the original hue of the grape. A full-bodied white wine and the aroma of ripe fruit,and marzipan with its characteristic finish of bitter almonds.
