Podere Veneri Vecchio, Frammenti di Terra IGT 2010 - Campania

12° Grape: 100% Sciascinoso

This grape has all but disappeared, except for tiny remnants of earth (hence the title) in Campania. In this case maceration on the skins lasts 45 days, followed by long contact with its lees, using frequent batonnage, as with all their wines. The wine is then transferred to used oak barrels for 12 months.

Vibrant ruby red,aromas of fresh red flowers and fruit, rasberries, cherry, red currant, red orange, fruit chutney, nuances of forest moss, wet earth, laurel, chocolate and chilli, watermelon, candied carrot, salted meat, cinnamon, oregano, a complex and intense finish.
