Emilio Bulfon, Sciaglin IGP 2011 - Friuli Venezia Giulia

13° Grape: Sciaglin 100%

Only a few hectares of this indigenous grape exist in the the area surrounding Castelnuovo del Friuli in the province of Pordenone in western hills of Friuli. It has a clear-yellow palor, and delicate floral aromas of apple blossom are reinforced by a crisp, dry acidity and flavours ofcrunchy green apples. Ripe lychees follow, and a lingering minerality on the finish.
