We have scrupulously selected our sumptuous reds for quality and distinctiveness from the numerous Regions that make Italy so diverse. Sourcing wines is our mission, and yet we never cease to be astonished by the limitless varieties of grapes we come across on each of our visits to the peninsula. To a venerable collection of Chiantis and Barolos we've added biodynamic Amarone, the fantastic creations of Tiraboschi at Mondo Antico in Lombardy with the most unexpected results from untamed grapes of Croatina, Barbera and Moradello. His Pinot Nero is a concentrated burst of aromatic flavours that disorient and intrigue, so much that preconceptions on grape varieties are turned to dust before the assertive reality of what has to be an artistic experience.
